I run continuous improvement at Solar Therapeutics, a vertically integrated operation in Somerset, Massachusetts. Before that I spent nine years building connected medication-adherence devices, and before that I helped put Citi Bike on the streets of New York. I came up through professional kitchens, which is still the best Lean training I've had.

Packaging went from cost center to profit center
Two years ago packaging and labeling showed up on the P&L as pure cost. Today it runs roughly three quarters of its capacity co-packing for other brands. It started with time on the line: where product actually sat, and where the bottleneck actually was. Only after that did we ask which equipment would raise throughput without giving up anything the customer cares about.
Around it I redesigned trim, set a two-week harvest cadence, and built the demand and production planning system from scratch.
SentiCare, then RxAdvance · 2013 to 2022
Two generations of a connected medication-adherence device
At SentiCare I helped build the first-generation device and demonstrated it to CVS and Kaiser Permanente. At RxAdvance I started the second-generation redesign without being asked. It became the device the company used in the investor demonstrations that supported its fundraising, and I'm a named co-inventor on the patents that came out of it.
I also built the credentialing automation platform that earned URAC accreditation on its first submission.

Citi Bike NYC, from the factory to the curb
I took the electrical engineers' designs and got them integrated into the kiosk, the bike and the dock. I built the U.S. supply chain, ran the approval demo for the NYC Department of Transportation, and pushed the over-the-air updates that kept the system running. We launched Bike Chattanooga first.

A live sports-intelligence product, built end to end
A systems engine that models game state, a content pipeline that turns it into publishable copy, and a stadium dataset computed offline so nothing heavy sits in the request path. I build tools for the floor the same way: small, specific, and in production.

Run the numbers yourself
This is what one of my Lean skills does, running in your browser. Change any input. Leave one blank and it refuses to guess. Give it an average instead of a best-demonstrated rate and it tells you the result isn't usable. That is the whole idea of the toolkit: the assistant holds the clipboard, and you go see.
